OUR MISSION
Here at Layla’s Heart Ranch and Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We are dedicated to saving the lives of at risk animals through rescue by providing shelter, medical care, training and rehabilitation until loving forever homes are found while also offering sanctuary for those in need of refuge.
LHRR is a true no kill rescue, rehab, and sacntuary with a 100% save rate.
DOG RESCUE AND ANIMAL SANCTUARY
|Dogs of the Month|
Each month we will highlight two of our adoptable dogs! Adoption saves lives and we want to make sure we are sharing as many pets as we can. All animals deserve a home filled with love and kindness and should be treasured.
Rue
Rue girl! This beautiful, well behaved, incredibly smart girl came to LHRR as an owner surrender as she needs to be the only pup in the home. But trust me she is all you need! You haven’t loved until you have received a kiss from this loveable girl. Rue enjoys going on walks to take in all the aromas of the ranch and to say she is smart is an understatement. Knowing all of her basic commands, Rue will happily show you all of her tricks (in exchange for treats of course). If you were to look up the definition of loyal in the dictionary you would find a picture of Rue. She loves her people and would do anything for those she loves. Rue gets along great with children and would make the best companion for someone worthy of her love.
Coco
Coco or as we lovingly call her Cocomelon or sweet potato, due to her beautiful coloring is one of our wonderful senior pups. We rescued Coco from euthanasia in May of ‘22 after the shelter she was at refused to give her any human interaction. No staff would work with her, as they were afraid of her, and volunteers were not allowed to interact with her. We rescued this girl saving her life and she has been literally nothing but a joy. She loves to do her workouts with rescue mom, running back and forth in the play yard and she is an absolute foodie! Coco enjoys all food and all treats and she is a sucker for a bully stick. Coco is an affectionate pup that would love with another dog if it is the right fit. Although she is a senior, she has an incredible zest for life and energy about her. Coco truly is a special gem.

PROGRAMS
DOG BOARDING- We are not offering boarding at this time. Please check back later.
Layla's Heart Ranch and Rescue offers premier dog boarding in addition to our rescue efforts. We always go above and beyond to make sure that your pet's stay with us is fun and safe. We understand that leaving your pup in a safe and loving environment is important to you. It's important to us, too. Our kennels are cleaned daily and thoroughly with dog safe products. Your dog will enjoy two daily walks as well as individual play time each day they are with us. We do not do group play unless you bring in multiple dogs within the same family. Does your pet need daily medicine? We ensure that they get it! Your furry family member will be housed in a kennel that has an indoor and outdoor area and they can come and go as they please. We know you will miss your pet and they will surely miss you, so feel free to call and check in on them as often as you would like!
Boarding Fees:
$50 per night
FOSTER-TO-ADOPT
What is foster-to-adopt? Foster-to adopt is a great way to learn if one of our dogs is a good fit for your family prior to committing to adoption. When you foster-to adopt, you take the animal home as a foster and see if the relationship is meant to be. This way the dog can relax in your home and show its true personality. This also gets the dog into a home environment where they can live like a normal dog. If you decide to adopt the dog you will be required to pay the appropriate adoption fee.
